आठवतिये का ती १५-२० वर्षांपूर्वीची टीव्ही वरची जाहिरात ???
एक सडपातळ तरुण मुलगी रस्त्यावर क्रिकेट खेळत असते आणि जोरात बॉल मारल्याने एका घराची काच तिच्याकडून फुटते. आणि ती बॉल शोधत असताना, घरमालकीण तिला शोधत शोधत येते आणि तिचा कान पकडून घरमालकीण तिला म्हणते, “अच्छा ! तर तू आहेस !! कॉलेज बुडवून क्रिकेट खेळतेस ? सांगू का तुझ्या आईला ?....” आणि तेवढ्यात एक लहान मुलगी हातात बॅट घेऊन पळत पळत तिथे येते… मोठयाने हाक मारत.... “आईऽऽऽ बॉल मिळाला का ???” आणि मग त्या घरमालकीणीला आश्चर्याचा धक्का बसतो, “आई ???”. मग पुढचं तुम्हाला पाठ असेलच... “हळद आणि चंदनाचे गुण... त्वचा आणखीन उजळे...” वगैरे वगैरे !
मला त्या साबणाबद्दल किंवा जाहिरातीबद्दल चांगलं किंवा वाईट काहीच इथे लिहायचं नाहीये. पण आजच्या विषयाच्या अनुषंगाने एवढंच सांगायचं आहे, की वीस वर्षांपूर्वी सुंदर आणि तरुण दिसण्यासाठी फार फार तर एखादा विशेष साबण , एखादं स्कीन-क्रीम , तोंडाची पावडर आणि अगदीच नटणारी बाई लिपस्टिक लावायची. पण कालांतराने सौंदर्याच्या संकल्पना बदलू लागल्या. अनंत प्रकारचे कॉस्मेटिक्स आणि स्कीन ट्रीटमेंट्स बाजारात आल्या.
प्रत्येक स्त्री स्वतःला सुंदर बघू इच्छिते - तो नैसर्गिक गुणधर्म आहे स्त्री-जातीचा !! पण दुर्दैवाने अवास्तव जाहिरातींना बळी पडून अनैसर्गिक, केमिकल आणि अतिशय घातक प्रकारांचा अवलंब करण्यास स्त्रियांनी सुरुवात केली. बर्याचदा झटपट सुंदर दिसण्यासाठी आपल्या स्वतःच्या आरोग्यावर वाईट अत्याचार स्त्रिया करत आहेत. ज्या प्रमाणात ऑरगॅनिक फूड , देशी गाईचे A2 मिल्क किंवा कोल्ड-प्रेस्ड लाकडी घाणीचे तेल इत्यादींबद्दल समाजात जागरूकता निर्माण झाली आहे, त्या प्रमाणात ऑरगॅनिक आणि नैसर्गिक सौंदर्याबद्दल जागरूकता आपल्या समाजात येण्यास तसा थोडा वेळच लागत आहे.
पण एकंदर थोडी सुरुवात नक्की झाली आहे. आयुर्वेद आणि योगाबद्दल बरीच जागरूकता समाजात निर्माण झाली आहे… होत आहे. फक्त बाह्य गोष्टींनी शरीर सजविण्यापेक्षा आतून जर नैसर्गिक पद्धतीने शरीर निरोगी आणि सुंदर बनविले, तर असे सौंदर्य स्त्रीच्या मानसिक आरोग्याला सुद्धा सुदृढ करते हे आता सिद्ध होत आहे. स्त्रीचे सौंदर्य अतिशय सुंदर पद्धतीने खुलविण्याचा अजून एक सोप्पा आणि प्रभावी मार्ग म्हणजे Face Yoga !!!
Face Yoga हे खरंतर आपल्याच देशातील एक प्राचीन विज्ञान... पण जपान मधून शिक्का घेऊन आल्याने आता प्रसिद्धीस पात्र ठरत आहे. असो ! ह्या ना त्या कारणाने प्रसिद्ध होत आहे, हे महत्त्वाचं ! कारण ही सौंदर्य पद्धती इतकी जादुई आहे, की मी जेव्हा सर्वप्रथम Face Yoga ट्राय केलं त्या क्षणीच मी फेस योगाच्या प्रेमात पडले. इतकं सुंदर विज्ञान आपल्या देशातील सर्व महिलांसाठी उपलब्ध असताना, “का अनेक जणी गरज नसताना, तात्पुरता परिणाम देणारे अतिशय घातक केमिकल्स स्वतःच्या चेहर्यावर लावत आहेत?” ह्याचं मला मनापासून दुःख झालं. आणि मग सुरू झाला माझा प्रवास – फेस योगासोबत !!!
ह्या विषयाचा अत्यंत खोलवर आणि गंभीरपणे अभ्यास करण्यास मी सुरुवात केली आणि नवनवीन आश्चर्यकारक गोष्टी माझ्यासमोर प्रकट होऊ लागल्या. सोप्या भाषेत सांगायचं तर, फेस योगामध्ये चेहर्याची ठेवण सुधारण्यासाठी, चेहर्याचे स्नायू मजबूत करण्यासाठी, सुरकुत्या घालविण्यासाठी, सॉफ्टनेस आणण्यासाठी, त्वचेशी निगडीत समस्यांसाठी, चेहरा उजळविण्यासाठी अनेक प्रकारचे चेहर्याचे व्यायाम आणि स्वतः करता येण्यासारखे मसाज ह्यांचा समावेश असतो. एकंदरीत करण्यास अत्यंत सोप्पी व मजेशीर पण नीट शिकून, समजून केल्यास आश्चर्यकारक परिणाम देणारी ही योगपद्धती आहे.
रोज फक्त काही मिनिटांच्या फेस योगाच्या सरावाने सुद्धा अतिशय चमत्कारिक परिणाम पहायला मिळतात. आणि ते सुद्धा कुठल्याही साइड-एफ्फेक्ट्स शिवाय !! परदेशात अत्यंत प्रसिद्ध झालेली ही सौंदर्य-पद्धती आता भारतात प्रचलीत होत आहे आणि आता स्त्रियांसोबत पुरुषही ह्याचा लाभ घेत आहेत. फेस योगाद्वारे चेहर्याशी आणि त्वचेशी निगडीत अनेक समस्या सोडवणे शक्य आहे जसे – सुरकुत्या, त्वचेवरील डाग, डबल-चिन, चेहर्यावरील फुगवटे, चेहर्याचा बेढबपणा, गालांची ठेवण, त्वचेची कांती इ..
मला स्वतःला फेस योगाचा खूप म्हणजे खूप लाभ झाला आणि मी ज्यांना आत्तापर्यंत शिकवलं आहे, त्यांनाही खूप लाभ होतोय. मग मी माझ्या न्यूट्रिशन च्या फील्डसोबत फेस योगाचाही सखोल अभ्यास चालू केला आणि आपल्या समाजातील अनेक मैत्रिणींपर्यंत हे संपूर्ण नैसर्गिक, अतिशय चमत्कारिक आणि प्रभावी तंत्र पोचविण्याचा ध्यास घेतला आहे. आपल्या सदिच्छा आणि प्रार्थनांची अपेक्षा करत आज इथेच थांबते. बाकी पुढच्या भागात !

दि स्लीपिंग ब्युटी !!
१४ व्या शतकापासून अनेक कथा, कादंबर्या, सिनेमा, नाटके यांमध्ये गाजलेली एक रंजक परीकथा !!! ज्यामध्ये एका सुंदर राजकुमारीला १०० वर्षे झोपण्याचा शाप मिळतो आणि १०० वर्षांनी एक तरुण आणि राजबिंडा राजकुमार येऊन तिला झोपेतून उठवणार... असा उःशापही मिळतो. ही जरी एक परीकथा असली आणि अर्थात काल्पनिक असली, तरी तिच्या नावात खूप ज्ञान सामावलेलं आहे. दि स्लीपिंग ब्युटी !! - झोप आणि सौंदर्य ह्यांचा अत्यंत जवळचा संबंध आहे.
जेव्हा आपण झोपतो तेव्हा आपल्या त्वचेतील रक्तप्रवाह वाढतो आणि त्वचेतील कोलेजन ची पुनर्बांधणी होते ज्याद्वारे त्वचेवरील सुरकुत्या, डाग, ब्लॅक-सर्कल्स, रफनेस, ड्रायनेस, फुगवटा इत्यादि कमी होतात तसेच प्रदूषणामुळे आणि UV किरण इत्यादिंद्वारे झालेली त्वचेची झीज भरून निघते.
आपला चेहरा, आपली त्वचा आणि आपलं सौंदर्य ह्याचा आपल्या झोपेशी खूप जवळचा संबंध आहे. झोप व्यवस्थित नसणार्या महिलांच्या चेहर्यावर आणि त्वचेवर खूप वाईट परिणाम झाल्याचे बर्याच सर्वेक्षणांमध्ये आढळून आले आहे. पापण्या सैल पडणे, डोळे लाल होणे किंवा सुजणे, डोळ्याखाली काळे डाग पडणे, त्वचेचा उजळपणा (ग्लो) निघून जाणे, चेहरा राठ, निस्तेज आणि खरबरीत होणे, चेहर्यावर फुगवटा येणे यांसारख्या खूप सार्या समस्या अनेक महिलांना त्रास देत आहेत. मी स्वतः अनेक क्लाएंट्स च्या ह्या समस्या खूप जवळून पाहिलेल्या आहेत. ह्या सगळ्याची ४ मुख्य कारणे आढळून येतात -
1. त्वचेची योग्य निगा न राखणे - स्वच्छता, हायड्रेशन इ.
2. त्वचेला योग्य न्यूट्रिशन न मिळणे - अन्नातून आणि बाहेरून
3. त्वचेचे व्यायाम आणि मसाज न करणे ! आणि
4. झोप व्यवस्थित नसणे !
आयुर्वेदानुसार आपली पचनसंस्था ही आपल्या सौंदर्याचा कणा आहे. आणि ही पचनसंस्था आपल्या चेहर्यावर आणि त्वचेवर प्रतिबिंबीत होत असते. जर झोप व्यवस्थित नसेल, तर त्रिदोषांचे संतुलन बिघडते आणि त्याचा सर्वप्रथम परिणाम त्वचेवर दिसून येतो. जसे - पिंपल्स, अल्सर्स, काळे डाग, रॅशेस इ. आणि मग ह्या सर्वांवर बाहेरून केमिकल चा मारा करायला आपल्याला जाहिरातींद्वारे शिकवले जाते. पण खरी समस्या बाहेर नाहीच आहे. खरा प्रॉब्लेम आत आहे. आपल्या दिनचर्येमध्ये आहे, आपल्या अन्नामध्ये, झोपेमध्ये आणि त्वचेची निगा राखण्यामध्ये आहे.
मी माझ्या फेस योगाच्या सर्व क्लाएंट्स ना सुद्धा स्पष्ट सांगते, की जर दिनचर्या सुधरविण्याचा प्रयत्न नाही केला गेला, तर फेस योगासारखी सुपर-डुपर जादुई सौंदर्य-पद्धती सुद्धा जास्त जादू दाखवू शकणार नाही. कारण सर्व समस्यांचे मूलभूत समाधान योग्य न्यूट्रिशन आणि योग्य दिनचर्या ह्यातच आहे. आणि हे जर व्यवस्थित असेल, तर फेस योगाचा इफेक्ट अजून हजार पटीने जास्त दिसून येईल.
1. आपल्या प्रकृती-नुसार ६ ते ८ तास सलग आणि शांत झोप प्रत्येकीसाठी गरजेची आहे. आणि ही ६ ते ८ तास झोप अशी पाहिजे, की सूर्योदयापूर्वी उठता आलं पाहिजे. (म्हणजेच रात्री ११ च्या आधी झोपलं पाहिजे - आठवड्यातून किमान ५ दिवस)
2. नियमितपणे आपले बेडशीट्स, पिलो-कव्हर, पांघरूण हे बदलले पाहिजे. झोपेमध्ये आपल्या त्वचेतून घाम, तेल, डेड स्कीन इत्यादि बाहेर पडते आणि हे सर्व बेडशीट इत्यादिंवर साचून राहते. स्वच्छता नाही पाळली, तर पुरळ, मुरूम, घामोळ्या, अॅलर्जी यांसारख्या समस्या नक्कीच उद्भवणार !
3. रोज ठरलेली झोपण्याची वेळ पाळणे गरजेचे आहे. झोपण्याची आणि उठण्याची वेळ ह्यामधील नियमितता त्वचेला तजेलदार बनवते.
चला तर मग... शांत आणि शिस्तबद्ध झोपूया, त्वचा उजळवूया आणि नैसर्गिकरीत्या सौंदर्य खुलवूया !!!
